One Big Ass Mistake, America
The complacent and apathetic voters have made their ill-conceived choice. Putting national security and reform aside, they instead chose the Marxist candidate….the one who promised them the most from the treasury coffers. So much for campaign finance reform. With support from; a left-wing biased Bush/Cheney hating mainstream media, money and ads from moveon.org, fraudulent voter registrations by ACORN, Black Panthers intimidating voters in Philadelphia [and making statements like "a black man is going to win no matter what"], and illegal campaign donations (foreign and domestic), the free market system and experienced national security candidate never had a chance. Never in the history of U.S. elections, has such an extreme liberal, un-vetted, and secretive candidate been elected. It will become America's loss. This man voted over 130 times "Present" while in the Senate, which means he is incapable of making a decision! The middle class bought the Marxist candidates' mantra “I am going to save the middle class” sales pitch, hook, line, and sinker. In short, they were duped. When in actuality, Barack Hussein Obama will destroy the middle class by creating a welfare dependent class and making them a ward of the state ….he will then own their vote. The Democrats will move quickly to pass and enact laws (i.e., the Fairness Doctrine, more power and money to ACORN, liberal campaign finance laws, ammunition coding and restrictions on gun ownership, granting unions more clout with "Card Check," economy crippling "Cap and Trade" legislation, government-run healthcare, etc.) to ensure they never lose power through future elections. The future will be a move towards a European style socialist system, where our standard of living and productivity will decline, our mighty military will become smaller and less equipped, and our taxes (all taxes) will go up. We will be forced into smaller cars, smaller homes, and smaller families. We will lose many freedoms, such as the right to own a firearm, the right to vote for a union via a secret ballot [instead the union thugs will tell you how to vote], et al. The gap between the rich elitists and the middle-class/poor will widen and there by destroying our republic and replacing it with a socialistic state. Don't be fooled by Barack Hussein Obama's current middle-to-conservative cabinets picks (exception being Eric Holder as AG, a true left-wing extremist and anti-gun activist), it is just a smoke screen....remember what Stalin said.

Like Spain, we have capitulated to the extreme Islamists and the George Soros socialists. The apathetic, and greedy self-interest voter, has made his/her choice. The voter has chosen; European style socialism over the capitalist free market system, Islam over Christianity, bondage over liberty, and punishment of achievement over self reliance. President Bush took the War on Terror to the enemy and his soil; Barack Hussein Obama will capitulate and bring the war to our soil, and we will defend our borders with a smaller military. Instead of learning the lessons of other failed socialistic governments, sadly we have decided to join them.
Change we can believe in? No doubt you will see change, but you are not going to like it.

The guy had to try it one more time. So he left, returned and took a stool.... Again, a martini, and the question, "What is your IQ?" This time the man drawled out " Uh..... 'bout 50"..??
The robot clicked then leaned close and v-e-r-y slowly asked,

Tax Cuts - As Explained By A Democrat
If you don't understand the Democrats' version of tax cuts (and you are not alone), maybe this will help explain it:
50,000 people go to a baseball game, but the game was rained out. A refund was then due.
The team was about to mail refunds when the Congressional Democrats stopped them and suggested that they send out refund amounts based on the Democrat National Committee's interpretation of fairness.
After all, if the refunds were made based on the price each person paid for the tickets, most of the money would go to the ticket holders of the most expensive tickets. That would be unfair and unconscionable.
People in the $10 seats will get back $15, because they have less money to spend. Call it an "Earned Income Ticket Credit." Persons "earn" it by demonstrating little ambition, few skills and poor work habits, thus keeping them at entry-level wages.
People in the $25 seats will get back $25, because that's only fair.
People in the $50 seats will get back $1, because they already make a lot of money and don't need a refund. After all, if they can afford a $50 ticket, then they must not be paying enough taxes.
People in the $75 luxury seats will have to pay another $50, because they have way too much to spend.
The people driving (or walking) by the stadium who couldn't afford to watch the game will get $10 each, even though they didn't pay anything in, because they need the most help (sometimes known as Affirmative Action!).

Can a good Muslim be a good American?
I sent that question to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years.
The following is his reply:
Theologically - no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia.
Religiously - no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam (Koran, 2:256)
Sculpturally - no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran).
Geographically - no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.
Socially - no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.
Politically - no. Because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and Destruction of America, the great Satan.
Domestically - no. Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34).
Intellectually - no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.
Philosophically - no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.
Spiritually - no. Because when we declare "one nation under God," the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran's 99 excellent names.
Therefore after much study and deliberation.... perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both "good" Muslims and good Americans.
Call it what you wish.... it's still the truth.

Come on, is this really about cartoons? They're rampaging and burning flags. They're looking for Europeans to kidnap. You don't really need a reason. You just need an excuse. Wandering around, destroying property, murdering children, firing guns into the air and feigning outrage over the slightest perceived insult is to a jihadist what tailgating is to a Steeler's fan. I know and understand that these bloodthirsty murderers do not represent the majority of the world's Muslims. When, though, do they become outraged? Steve Forbes Praises 'Do As I Say' Book
Former presidential candidate Steve Forbes has high praise for Peter Schweizer's new book about liberal hypocrisy, calling it "a book that'll make your eyes pop."
Forbes, editor-in-chief of Forbes magazine, writes in his Fact and Comment column about "Do As I Say (Not As I Do): Profiles in Liberal Hypocrisy," saying that "the mainstream media love it when notable conservatives get caught not practicing what they preach concerning public behavior."
But "as this book engagingly documents," liberals "are in many respects even bigger hypocrites than are fallen conservatives."
Forbes cites several examples of blatant liberal hypocrisy exposed by Schweizer, a fellow at the Hoover Institution, including:
- Filmmaker Michael Moore claims he doesn't invest in the stock market. In fact, his foundation has bought shares in scores of companies, including Halliburton, which he routinely castigates.
- House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi champions organized labor. But Pelosi and her husband own a vineyard that employs only nonunion workers. And she owns part of a California resort that is also nonunion.
- Comedian Al Franken often charges that Republicans are racists, yet his staff is actually whiter than Bob Jones University, a school that Franken labels "racist."
- "Environmentalist" Ted Kennedy opposed a "clean energy" wind-power system off Cape Cod - because it was close to his family compound in Hyannis, Mass.
"On and on it goes," Forbes writes. "Strangely (not!), Schweizer's revelations have received scant coverage in most of the media."

THE TRUTH ABOUT TED KENNEDY
A letter from Mary Jo Kopechne
I would have been 65 years of age this year. Read about me and my killer below.
When Sen. Ted Kennedy was merely just another Democrat bloating on Capitol Hill on behalf of liberal causes, it was perhaps excusable to ignore his deplorable past. But now that he's become a leading Republican attack dog, positioning himself as Washington's leading arbiter of truth and integrity, the days for such indulgence are now over. It's time for the GOP to stand up and remind America why this chief spokesman had to abandon his own presidential bid in 1980 -It is time to say the words Mary Jo Kopechne out loud.
As is often the case, Republicans have deluded themselves into thinking that most Americans already know the story of how this "Conscience of the Democratic Party" left Miss Kopechne behind to die in the waters underneath the Edgartown Bridge in July 1969, after a night of drinking and partying with the young blonde campaign worker. But most Americans under 40 have never heard that story, or details of how Kennedy swam to safety, then tried to get his cousin Joe Garghan to say he was behind the wheel.
Those young voters don't know how Miss Kopechne, trapped inside Kennedy's Oldsmobile, gasped for air until she finally died, while the Democrats' leading Iraq war critic rushed back to his compound to formulate the best alibi he could think of.
Neither does Generation X know how Kennedy was thrown out of Harvard on his ear 15 years earlier -- for paying a fellow student to take his Spanish final. Or why the US Army denied him a commission because he cheated on tests.
As they listen to the Democrats' "Liberal Lion" accuse President Bush of "telling lie after lie after lie" to get America to go to war in Iraq. Young voters don't know about that notorious 1991 Easter weekend in Palm Beach, when Uncle Teddy rounded up his nephews for a night on the town, an evening that ended with one of them credibly accused of rape.
Republicans vs. Democrats
A young woman was about to finish her first year of college. Like so many others her age, she considered herself to be a very liberal Democrat, very much in favor of the redistribution of wealth.
She was deeply ashamed that her father was a rather staunch Republican, a feeling she openly expressed. Based on the lectures that she had participated in, and the occasional chat with a professor, she felt that her father had for years harbored an evil, selfish desire to keep what he thought should be his.
One day she was challenging her father on his opposition to higher taxes on the rich and the addition of more government welfare programs. The self-professed objectivity proclaimed by her professors had to be the truth and she indicated so to her father.
He responded by asking her how she was doing in school.
Taken back, she answered rather haughtily that she had a 4.0 GPA, and let him know that it was tough to maintain, insisting that she was taking a very difficult course load and was constantly studying, which left her no time to go out and party like other people she knew. She didn't even have time for a boyfriend, and didn't really have many college friends because she spent all her time studying.
Her father listened and then asked, "How is your friend Aubrey doing?"
She replied, "Aubrey is barely getting by. All she takes are easy classes, she never studies, and she barely has a 2.0 GPA. She is so popular on campus; college for her is a blast. She's always invited to all the parties, and lots of times she doesn't even show up for classes because she's too hung over."
Her wise father asked his daughter, "Why don't you go to the Dean's office and ask him to deduct a 1 .0 off your 4.0 GPA and give it to your friend who only has a 2.0. That way you will both have a 3.0 GPA and certainly that would be a fair and equal distribution of GPA."
The daughter, visibly shocked by her father's suggestion, angrily fired back, “That wouldn't be fair!” I have worked really hard for my grades! I've invested a lot of time, and a lot of hard work! Aubrey has done next to nothing toward her degree. She played while I worked my tail off!"
The father slowly smiled, winked and said gently, "Welcome to the Republican Party"

Why are today's Democrats so ferociously set against fixing the system? It's not just that the Bush-bashers couldn't stand to see Bush get credit for it. They know how to climb aboard the front of a victory train and pretend they've been leading it all along. No, the problem is that individual ownership of retirement accounts would lead to a fundamental change in society. We would become an ownership society, no longer dependent on government largesse. Our retirement money would not be available for Congress to spend on its favorite pork projects. Worst of all, from their viewpoint, we no longer would have to be grateful to our elected representatives!
SOCIAL SECURITY FACTS
Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program.
He promised:1.) That participation in the Program would be completely voluntary,
2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual incomes into the Program,
3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year,
4.) That the money the participants put into the independent "Trust Fund" rather than into the General operating fund and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program and no other Government program and,
5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income.
Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month -- and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to "put away," you may be interested in the following:
Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent "Trust" fund and put it into the General fund so that Congress could spend it?
A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the Democratically-controlled House and Senate.
Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding?
A: The Democratic Party.
Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities?
A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the "tie-breaking" deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the U.S.
Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants?
A: Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country and at age 65, began to receive SSI Social Security payments! The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it!
Then, after doing all this thieving and violation of the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away and the worst part about it is uninformed citizens believe it!

Vietnam 65-55I am so sick of the liberal left, both domestic and foreign, constantly berating America as being morally bankrupt and a plague upon mankind. To them, we are quite singularly responsible for all the evil in the world through our crass, greedy, capitalistic practices. So, tonight, this unapologetic capitalist is watching Oliver North’s War Stories and I’m seeing American sailors who survived the sinking of their ship and were imprisoned by the Japanese. A photo reveals their starkly emaciated condition upon their post-war emancipation, graphic evidence of the cruel deprivation inflicted upon them by the Japanese. A now robust surviving sailor tells Ollie he came out of that camp weighing 95 pounds.
I think about that for a moment and a kaleidoscope of such images that I have witnessed in my sixty-three years lights up my mind: innumerable accounts of the gross mistreatment of prisoners from many sources; the bone-visible survivors of Auschwitz and other German concentration camps; the human skeletons emerging from the Philippine hellholes the Japanese maintained; the skeletal denizens of the Soviet gulag, starved and worked to death for transgressions against the regime; American POW’s, repatriated from North Korea and Vietnam. And, more recently, I recall the videos of bloated bellied African toddlers, starved by an uncaring, despotic government in Sudan.
But you know one image that isn’t there? I delve deep into my mind trying to find even one example and I cannot find it. Can you guess what it is? Try this: go back through all your experiences of the twentieth century and try to come up with one, just one, just one single image of a starving, emaciated prisoner in the custody of American troops or the American government. I’m not saying it may not exist, but if it did, don’t you think some self-loathing, America-hating college professor would have revealed it to the world by now? Yes, mistreatment occurred on both sides during our civil war, but by the time I grew up, literally in middle America, in a small town in Oklahoma, attitudes had changed; the German POW’s incarcerated in our local prison were well treated, well fed, and encouraged to be healthy contributors to our economy. They did.
And that folks, says a hell of a lot about us, about you, about me, and about this great country, which together, we comprise. Yeah, we may take some terror suspects into custody and interrogate them aggressively. We may imprison Taliban suspects in Guantanamo and deprive them of sleep and discomfit them in other ways in our efforts to glean battlefield intelligence from them. We may even have committed the horrible transgression of putting panties (gasp) over some terrorists’ heads in Abu Ghraib. But guess what? None of them, not one single prisoner whom I’ve seen in the mainstream media’s avalanche of news reports of our horrible transgressions, exhibits any evidence of being starved.
Nope they all look amazingly well fed, don’t they? There wasn’t one single scarecrow in that pornographic pyramid of prisoners in Abu Ghraib. Nope, all those butts looked amazingly rotund and well fed, didn’t they? Admittedly, they’re kinda skinny by American standards, but there’s not one human skeleton in the lot as far as I’ve been able to determine, not a single starvation induced, skin-stretching rib or jauntily jutting hipbone in evidence in any one of those pictures.
So what does that say, America, about our moral bankruptcy, our inhumanity and our lack of concern for our fellow man? Well, it tells this ol’ Texas boy that all those pointy-headed academics, like that phony, overweight, cigar-store Indian, Ward Churchill, and all his loudly complaining, liberal supporters, don’t have one single clue about the real evils that exist in this world. From their ivory castles, they hurl barbed charges against us, you and me, us ol’ ordinary folks, proclaiming us the spawn of the Devil because we support that other devil, Karl Rove, who is out to put them all in chains. They are clueless, totally clueless; and they damned sure don’t have a clue about the good fortune that has been visited upon them by their birthright to be citizens of this great nation, a nation that, in spite of all its faults, does not starve its prisoners.
There is no greater cruelty in life than that of depriving a living creature of food to the point of starvation.
Just think about that all you pet-owning, America-hating Liberals and then consider your political friends.

Here are two definitions of “liberalism” that I found on the Princeton website:
1. a political orientation that favors progress and reform;
2. an economic theory advocating free competition and a self-regulating market.
Wow! Both of those definitions sound downright Conservative to me. But let’s think about these interesting ideas in modern terms for a moment.
Regarding Definition Number One, the new-styled Liberals in the Democrat Party of today only want to “reform” things that give people more from the government and require less personal responsibility. Their idea of “progress” is a new government bureaucracy to tell people how to think and live.
As to Definition Number Two, the Liberals of today are the complete opposite of the free-market model. Their core agenda is to tax people and businesses to pay for their social programs. Consider all the nanny alphabet agencies like OSHA, EPA, EEOC, etc. — not very much self-regulating there!
Now let’s consider the definition of “Socialism.” This is what you get if you go to Google and search “what is socialism?”:
1. a theory or system of social organization by which the major means of production and distribution are owned, managed, and controlled by the government, by an association or workers, or the community as a whole. (Does this one sound like a Hillary Clinton speech, or what?);
2. an economic system in which the means of production are controlled by the state.
We wonder why the Chinese are taking over the production of most consumer goods sold in the U.S.A. The answer is simple. They use convict labor and pay slave wages. Meanwhile, back in the states, the Democrats have pushed for all these government programs, regulations and taxes that restrict the ability of our own domestic companies to compete on the global market.
Classical Liberalism is about freedom, and government leaving people alone.
Socialism is about total control, and government being involved in everything.
We ought to give hungry people a fishing pole and teach them how to fish; instead, we give them hot fried fish in a convenient to-go box at a drive-thru window.
It’s time to rename the party of Howard Dean, Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Michael Moore and all the rest. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck . . . then it must be a duck.
Today’s Liberals are really Socialists. If the Democrats ever wish to reach the common man, they are going to have to be honest with their agenda.
