Understanding Louisiana

Just some facts to help us all understand what we have to work with here. Louisiana's school systems ranked dead last in the nation in the number of computers per student (1 per 88)and has the nation's second-highest percentage of adults who never finished high school.

By the state's own measure, 47% of the public schools in New Orleans rank as "academically unacceptable." Louisiana has well-known reputation for corruption: as former Congressman Billy Tauzin once put it, "Half of Louisiana is under water and the other half is under indictment ." Adjusted for population size, Louisiana ranks third in the number of elected officials convicted of crimes ( Mississippi is #1). Recent scandals include the conviction of 14 state judges and an FBI raid
on the business and personal files of a Louisiana congressman.

In 1991, a notoriously corrupt Democrat named Edwin Edwards ran for governor against Republican David Duke, a former head of the Ku Klux Klan. Ed wards, whose winning campaign included bumper stickers saying: "Elect the Crook," is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for taking bribes from casino owners. Duke recently completed his own prison term for tax fraud.

The New Orleans Police Department, which had the dubious distinction of being the nation's most corrupt police force - and the least effective, had the highest murder rate in America . More than 50 officers were eventually convicted of crimes including murder, rape and robbery, two are on Death Row.

Mayor Nagin of New Orleans turned down a Texas scrap metal firm's offer to the city of $100 each for the privilege of hauling away the abandoned automobiles still littering the city. This would have paid money to the city. Mayor Nagin is now considering giving a contract to another firm for
$23 Million to get rid of the vehicles.

Ten billion dollars are about to pass into the sticky hands of politicians in the #1 and #3 most corrupt states in America! Worried about looting? You ain't seen nothing yet!

New Orleans has a Democrat Mayor, a Democrat City Council, & a Democrat Chief of Police. The Great State of Louisiana has a Democrat Governor, a Democrat Lt. Governor, and a Democrat Attorney General. 24 of 39 Louisiana State Senators are Democrats,67 of 105 Louisiana State House Representatives are Democrats, there's a Democrat Representative in the House from New Orleans,
and one of two U. S. Senators is a Democrat.

So my friends,

THIS PRETTY MUCH EXPLAINS WHY IT'S ALL GEORGE BUSH'S FAULT!

Jesse, where are you?

To my friends and family:

What I have seen since Katrina:

The poor and the wealthy hurt by the storm. Black, white, Hispanic, Oriental and Indian all hurt by the storm. Christian people giving, giving, giving. Churches going all out to minister in Jesus' name. Neighbors going door to door helping one another. Thugs and hoodlums going door to door looking for someone vulnerable. Ice and water being fought over as police tried to keep the peace. People coming up from New Orleans taking over empty houses because shelters are full. Out of town volunteers coming with food and staying for now a week still serving it. The Churches all over this part of the country doing what Christians do in a crisis. Fema doing a wonderful job in getting help to us.The Red Cross doing a great job in the shelters. The Salvation Army doing a great job in the community. Four hundred crewman from everywhere bring back the power to our homes, churches and businesses. Lines at service stations a block to a mile long. National Guardsman patrolling the streets of Mccomb along with Kentucky policemen protecting us from the hoodlums and thugs of McComb, Pike County and New Orleans (the most dangerous city in the world before Katrina.) Drug dealers working outside shelters. Doctors, nurses and other hospital personnel working tirelessly, even sleeping in the hospital to do the job God called them to do.

WHAT I HAVE NOT SEEN:

The ACLU setting up a feeding line. People for the American Way helping in the shelters. The NAACP doing anywork whatsoever. The American Atheist organization serving meals in the shelters. Jesse Jackson directing traffic at the gas stations. I could go on but you get my message. Its the Christian people with loveand compassion who do the work. The gripers in Congress should come on down and get in line to pass the water and the ice.

Are you listening Hillary, Chuck, Teddy and all the sorry loafers we call senators and congressmen. They don't have a clue as to what this life is all about here on the Gulf Coast.

Boy, I feel better now.

What We Learned From Katrina

We had an incompetent mayor, Mayor A**h***, who let a fleet of buses get ruined by a flood when he could have used them to help evacuate the city.

We saw that Nawlins was essentially a third world city filled with corruption and incompetence. And when we saw "the poor" degenerating into animals we got a glimpse of what liberal social policies have created. Guess what? There is a third world enclave in every large city. Imagine a disaster in Detroit or Philadelphia.

We got to see an incompetent governor, Governor Useless, who didn't have a clue as to what to do.

We got to see Senator TKO threaten to punch out the president for pointing out the obvious, that Mayor A**h*** and Governor Useless were incompetent political hacks.

Of course everything was Bush's fault. He created the hurricane because he wouldn't sign the Kyoto Treaty. What he should of done was pull a Clinton and sign it and send it to the Senate. When Clinton did that, the Senate voted against it 98 to 0.

According to Calypso Louie, Bush was responsible for the levee breaking. He actually bleew it up so it would flood Nawlins killing a lot of black people.

Turns out the thousands of dead and dead people floating in the streets Mayor A**h*** talked about didn't materialize. The death toll from Nawlins is around 700. Sure, that's too many but look what hit Nawlins and how incompetent the state and city official were.

Do y'all know why the levee wasn't built to withstand a category 5 hurricane? Read on.

Here is the ultimate irony. Algore had to cancel a speech he was gonna give in Nawlins "where he planned to blame global warming for the hurricane season." Instead he gave a speech to the Sierrra Club in San Francisco.

So where did Al choose to deliver this critical compendium of misjudgments, hyperbole, and error? In San Francisco, of course, where on September 9 he said, "The warnings about global warming have been extremely clear for a long time. We are facing a global climate crisis. It is deepening. We are entering a period of consequences." And he urged that "the leaders of our country be held accountable" for the flooding of New Orleans. Unfortunately he was addressing the Sierra Club, which was not the best place to bring up the flooding of New Orleans.

Why is that?

The very day he spoke a congressional task force reported that the levees that failed in New Orleans would have been raised higher and strengthened in 1996 by the Army Corps of Engineers were it not for a lawsuit filed by environmentalists led by who else but the Sierra Club. Among those "leaders of our country" to "be held accountable" for the flooding of New Orleans, would Al include the Sierra Club? How about the Save the Wetlands stalwarts? According to a recent report in the Los Angeles Times, a 1977 lawsuit filed by Save the Wetlands stopped a congressionally funded plan to protect New Orleans with a "massive hurricane barrier." A judge found that New Orleans' hurricane barrier would have to wait until the Army Corps of Engineers filed a better environmental-impact statement.

Yep. It's them pesky environmentalists again. Do what Clancy did in Rainbow 6. Drop 'em in the Brazilian rain forest to let them commune with nature. Bunch of jerks.

Katrina also showed the good side of America. People from other states are taking in refugees. Families in Atlanta have opened their homes. The racist Americans who hate black people have raised over $600 million to help the refugees who are mostly black. Just like the tsunami where we racist Americans raised around $500 million to help those people affected. Most of them were not white.

Speaking of Jesse Jackson:

Have you heard about his new staff member?

Jessie Jackson has added former Chicago Democrat Congressman Mel Reynolds to Rainbow/PUSH Coalition's payroll. Reynolds was among the 176 criminals excused in President Clinton's last-minute forgiveness spree. Reynolds received a commutation of his six-and-a-half-year federal sentence for 15 convictions of wire fraud, bank fraud and lies to the Federal Election Commission.

He is more notorious, however, for concurrently serving five years for sleeping with an underage campaign volunteer.

This is a first in American politics: An ex-congressman who had sex with a subordinate... won clemency from a president who had sex with a subordinate... then was hired by a clergyman who had sex with a subordinate.

His new job?

Ready for this??

YOUTH COUNSELOR!!

IS THIS A GREAT COUNTRY OR WHAT?

Moral poverty cost blacks in New Orleans
WorldNetDaily.com - September 21, 2023

Say a hurricane is about to destroy the city you live in. Two questions:

  1. What would you do?
  2. What would you do if you were black?

Sadly, the two questions don't have the same answer.

To the first: Most of us would take our families out of that city quickly to protect them from danger. Then, able-bodied men would return to help others in need, as wives and others cared for children, elderly, infirm and the like.

For better or worse, Hurricane Katrina has told us the answer to the second question. If you're black and a hurricane is about to destroy your city, then you'll probably wait for the government to save you.

This was not always the case. Prior to 40 years ago, such a pathetic performance by the black community in a time of crisis would have been inconceivable. The first response would have come from black men. They would take care of their families, bring them to safety, and then help the rest of the community. Then local government would come in.

No longer. When 75 percent of New Orleans residents had left the city, it was primarily immoral, welfare-pampered blacks that stayed behind and waited for the government to bail them out. This, as we know, did not turn out good results.

Enter Jesse Jackson and Louis Farrakhan. Jackson and Farrakhan laid blame on "racist" President Bush. Farrakhan actually proposed the idea that the government blew up a levee so as to kill blacks and save whites. The two demanded massive governmental spending to rebuild New Orleans, above and beyond the federal government's proposed $60 billion. Not only that, these two were positioning themselves as the gatekeepers to supervise the dispersion of funds. Perfect: Two of the most dishonest elite blacks in America, "overseeing" billions of dollars. I wonder where that money will end up.

Of course, if these two were really serious about laying blame on government, they should blame the local one. Responsibility to perform – legally and practically – fell first on the mayor of New Orleans. We are now all familiar with Mayor Ray Nagin – the black Democrat who likes to yell at President Bush for failing to do Nagin's job. The facts, unfortunately, do not support Nagin's wailing. As the Washington Times puts it, "recent reports show [Nagin] failed to follow through on his own city's emergency-response plan, which acknowledged that thousands of the city's poorest residents would have no way to evacuate the city."

One wonders how there was "no way" for these people to evacuate the city. We have photographic evidence telling us otherwise. You've probably seen it by now – the photo showing 200 parked school buses, unused and underwater. How much planning does it require to put people on a bus and leave town, Mayor Nagin?

Instead of doing the obvious, Mayor Nagin (with no positive contribution from Democratic Gov. Kathleen Blanco, the other major leader vested with responsibility to address the hurricane disaster) loaded remaining New Orleans residents into the Superdome and the city's convention center. We know how that plan turned out.

About five years ago, in a debate before the National Association of Black Journalists, I stated that if whites were to just leave the United States and let blacks run the country, they would turn America into a ghetto within 10 years. The audience, shall we say, disagreed with me strongly. Now I have to disagree with me. I gave blacks too much credit. It took a mere three days for blacks to turn the Superdome and the convention center into ghettos, rampant with theft, rape and murder.

President Bush is not to blame for the rampant immorality of blacks. Had New Orleans' black community taken action, most would have been out of harm's way. But most were too lazy, immoral and trifling to do anything productive for themselves.

All Americans must tell blacks this truth. It was blacks' moral poverty – not their material poverty – that cost them dearly in New Orleans. Farrakhan, Jackson, and other race hustlers are to be repudiated – they will only perpetuate this problem by stirring up hatred and applauding moral corruption. New Orleans, to the extent it is to be rebuilt, should be remade into a dependency-free, morally strong city where corruption is opposed and success is applauded. Blacks are obligated to help themselves and not depend on the government to care for them. We are all obligated to tell them so.
